Main activities

Development, manufacturing and introduction of automated systems for meteorological support to various industries, including aviation, road transport, marine, rail, urban public utilities.
Conducting scientific and methodological work in the field of meteorology.
Development of technical tools and software.
Carrying out works on servicing and modernization of hydro-meteorological equipment.

Starting from 2009 IRAM is participating in the Federal target program Modernization of the Unified Air Traffic Management System of the Russian Federation (2009-2015) in the subprogram. The development of meteorological services for air navigation.

In 2006, the Institute of Radar Meteorology was recognized as the best innovative company by Government of Leningrad region.

IRAM is giving training on regular basis for our specialist at the company and on the companies manufacturing meteorological equipment.

IRAM regularly participates in Russian and International Exhibitions and Conferences on on Aviation, Hydrometeorology and Road Transport.

We also organize seminars and training for our clients, whom we supply equipment and systems.

Specialist of IRAM are particularly proud of the fact, that we have worked on such complex projects of meteorological support as (only to mention a few):

supply of meteorological equipment and putting into operational service systems according ICAO Category III at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg, Domodedovo Airport in Moscow and Astana Airport in Kazahstan;
equipping Ostankino Television Tower and the Icebreaker Moskva with meteorological systems;
supplying and putting into operation meteorological equipment and systems to the facilities of Defense, FSO, and government agencies.

Institute of Radar Meteorology, accredited as a scientific organization in the Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology, develops and manufactures products in accordance with the quality management system ISO 9001-2001. IRAM has all necessary certificates and licenses of Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology and Interstate Aviation Committee on manufactured products and systems .

In total IRAM has delivered and installed in Russia and other countries more than 700 workstations for weather support. Systems are installed at more than 80 airports and other objects in 10 countries of the former Soviet Union.
